As reported by hrpac.org, a free Motown concert at Lincoln Harbor Park on the Weehawken waterfront will take place this Wednesday, July 30th at 7pm. Here’s what they had to say about “Motown on the Hudson”:

Led by bandleader and keyboard master, Jeremy Beck, this show has been specially created for Summer Concerts on the Hudson. Take a walk down memory lane to a time when songs moved you with soul-stirring arrangements of classic tunes we all know and love. Featuring Allison Semmes, who played Diana Ross in Motown, The Musical, Jovian Ford, a core member of The Platters, and Zonya Love, who is best known for portraying the lead role of Celie in the Broadway production of The Color Purple.
