As reported by hobokengirl.com, the team behind Jersey City’s DOMODOMO and ONDO has opened its third restaurant in Chilltown. BRBQ is a new Korean-American restaurant situated at 532 Summit Avenue in Jersey City. A press release revealed last month that BRBQ would soft open on Friday, June 20th inside the Journal Square Urby building, and now, it’s officially open in Jersey City.
The new spot delivers “innovative Korean-American cuisine, wood-fired flavors, and vibrant café energy,” per a press release. BRBQ serves lunch and dinner in an energetic, laid-back lounge setting featuring wood accents and neon-inspired artwork. The menu features smoky, wood-fired cooking and bold Asian-American flavors, including dishes like Korean BBQ short ribs, spicy pork bulgogi tacos, butterflied branzino, Pan con Tomate, mochi pancakes, and more. BRBQ also features outdoor seating in the warmer months, as well as lunch and weekend brunch.
BRBQ is open Tuesday through Thursday from 12PM to 2:30PM for lunch, 3PM to 5PM for happy hour, and 5PM to 9PM for dinner. On Fridays through Sundays, the restaurant is open from 11AM to 2:30PM for lunch and 5PM to 10PM for dinner.
