As reported by hobokengirl.com, one of Hoboken’s most engaging traditions, First Street Sundays, is back for yet another iteration of community connection in 2025. This early fall event will take place for several consecutive Sundays from 10AM to 8PM along First Street in downtown Hoboken. During the event, this part of the city will be characterized by “no parking” signs, residents and visitors out walking, and an emphasis on using Hoboken’s walkable structure to visit and support smaller businesses. 

With its focus on local businesses and emphasizing community, First Street Sundays will be a great opportunity for residents and visitors. Food connoisseurs can try out a plethora of street-open restaurants, which also doubles as a family-friendly activity.

Sports fans can check out the variety of bars that will be streaming opening week for the NFL, among other sports such as baseball and soccer. In the past, some locations have put out tables and television sets in the street for active viewing.

First Street Sundays will operate from 10AM to 8PM on the following days:

• September 14th
• September 21st
• September 28th
• October 5th
• October 12th
• October 19th
• October 26th
