The Gallery at Garden Street Lofts is pleased to announce its next showcase artist, Teresa Kruszewski, a locally based photographer. Ms. Kruszewski will be the third local artist to have works displayed on the lobby walls of Garden Street Lofts, home to The Gallery’s rotating artist series.
An opening reception for residents, guests of the artist and the local community will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. in The Gallery located at 1425 Garden Street in Hoboken, N.J. The event will feature food and wine from sponsors CORK and Dino & Harry’s.
This will be the first public exhibit of Ms. Kruszewski’s works.
The Gallery’s exhibits highlight a new local artist every four months. Ms. Kruszewski will have her work on display from February 1 thru May 31, 2016. The first show at The Gallery featured paper & stencil artist Ricardo Roig and the second exhibit highlighted the paintings of Alice Harrison.
About the Artist
Teresa Kruszewski is a photographer that creates fine art photographs using black & white film. Her process involves scanning the negatives at a high resolution and completing the “darkroom” work on her computer. All limited editions are printed on fine art fiber paper using archival inks. Framing and matting is gallery quality.
She also is a commercial photographer specializing in architecture, events and portraiture.
Last December, she worked with the Hoboken Division of Cultural Affairs to photograph the Sinatra Centennial Birthday Gala for the Hoboken Historical Museum.
