The Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey (BTCNJ) was established in 1978 and is a non-profit, all-volunteer bicycling club dedicated to promoting bicycling for recreation and transportation. They are the largest touring club in New Jersey with more than 1,300 members in approximately 1,000 households. The club rides schedule is one of the most active in the country, offering approximately 1,000 rides each year. Year-round schedule of recreational rides for all cycling abilities is published on the rides pages of their website.
