Memorial Day is Monday, May 27 – don’t miss the Fort Lee VFW’s Memorial Day Parade,
The parade starts at the Jack Alter Community Center on Inwood Terrace, then north on Center Avenue to Main Street, West on Main Street to Anderson Avenue and back to the Community Center. Following the parade, the VFW presents a ceremony which includes laying of the wreaths, performance by the Fort Lee High School Chorus and speeches by several dignitaries.
Post ceremony, the VFW will offer free refreshments outside the community center.
