Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland Attractions Expected to open at American Dream in May

Two of American Dream’s main attractions, are set to open in May after being delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland Discovery Center are expected to open on May 4, according to Merlin Entertainments, which operates both attractions. The two venues will be a great addition to the entertainment options already open at American Dream, which include an indoor snow park and Nickelodeon-themed rides.

The 25,000-square-foot aquarium includes more than 10 interactive exhibits inspired by local landmarks. Its main feature will be its underwater tunnel, which offers images of Manhattan landmarks scattered between the sea creatures. The aquarium will be similar to one that American Dream developer Triple Five already has inside the Mall of America in Minnesota.

The Legoland Discovery Center, also set to open in May, will offer interactive and educational experiences. It will feature a Lego-themed train ride, a 4D cinema, building classes, a Lego recreation of New York City and New Jersey landmarks, and other interactive build and play zones.
