Mile Square Theatre is staging 7th Inning Stretch: FIFA Edition on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with doors opening at 6 PM and the performance beginning at 7 PM. The annual event, which typically celebrates Hoboken’s place in baseball history, is pivoting this year to honor soccer in recognition of the World Cup being hosted in the United States.

Seven playwrights each wrote an original 10-minute play connected to the sport, with works ranging from heartfelt to comedic. Pre-show festivities at 6 PM include hot dogs, popcorn, and bar service.
