KRE is hosting a Soccer Match Festival and Watch Party on June 27^th at Magnolia Landing in Journal Square, featuring food, live music, and a variety of activities.

Beginning at 3 p.m. and running through 10 p.m., guests will enjoy a festive match day atmosphere complemented by a live Vallenato band, a DJ, six popular food trucks, a beer garden, artisan vendors, and soccer-themed activations. The games begin at 5 p.m., with Panama facing England and Croatia squaring off against Ghana. Then at 7:30 p.m., Portugal will take on Colombia. Three big screens will be available for viewing, spread across two separate seating areas.

The event is free and open to the public. KRE, the owner and manager of the Journal Squared residential towers, as well as seven more residential communities throughout Jersey City, has made serving the residents of Jersey City through dynamic programming and community engagement one of its main priorities. The Match Festival and Watch Party furthers KRE’s vision for Magnolia Landing as a vibrant public square where residents and visitors can gather to connect with each other and celebrate Jersey City’s unique culture.

Food trucks expected for the Match Festival include Chavas Empanadas, Savage Burger, Humos NY, FamBites, Maggie’s Munchies, and Amanda Bananas. Free soccer-related activities will be available. There will also be a facepainting station where fans can have the country colors of their choice painted on their face. The Vallenato band takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. The event is produced by MMFB Productions.
