The 4th Annual Summer Blockfest, Hoboken’s hip hop festival, is set for Saturday, August 22nd, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 770 Jackson Street. A rain date has been scheduled for August 29th.

The daylong event is organized by What Hoboken Sounds Like and will feature live performances from a large lineup of local artists, along with sets from DJ Bripee, Mister Angel, and DJ Madness. The festival will also include streetwear and urban fashion vendors, art, food trucks, and food vendors throughout the day.

As part of the event, the 2nd Annual Pamela Bates Foundation Awards Ceremony will take place, honoring community leaders making an impact in the area.

Organizers describe the festival as more than a concert lineup, calling it a moment dedicated to Hoboken’s culture and community.
